Jerry Nelson's Frontier Rodeo Company, which has built a heritage of award-winning livestock since 2005 and is the newly crowned PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year will again be our stock contractor for Roswell's PRCA Pro Rodeo on April 21 and 22 at Bob Crosby Arena at the ENMSF.

The Jesse Andrus and Mike Hillman Memorial is slated for 7:30 pm starts on Friday and Saturday nights.

Frontier Rodeo Company is based out of Winnie, Texas and Freedom, Oklahoma.  Owned by Jerry Nelson and managed by Pro Rodeo Hall-of-Famer Don Gay and Heath Stewart, the company has provided livestock to rodeos from Florida to Oregon and most states in between. Frontier Rodeo has won no less than 19 international and National Finals Rodeo awards since prized bull Big Bucks won PBR Bull of the Year in 2005.

Frontier Rodeo owner Nelson has been featured on the front page of the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal for his many achievements in the rodeo industry. He has owned numerous championship bulls and horses over his long career in the rodeo business. Among his other interest are Nutty Jerry's Entertainment Center in Winnie, Texas, Maverick International, Inc., and the Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks, three time American Basketball Association National Champions.

General manager Don Gay is an eight time Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association(PRCA) World Champion bull rider, and was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 1979. His father was inducted in 1993, making them the only father and son to receive entry into the hall. Gay has won numerous awards over his illustrious career both in and out of the arena, and served on the PRCA Board of Directors in 1995-96. He is a respected color analyst for such prominent sports networks as ESPN, Fox Sports Net and TNN.
